Function Description：
EtherNet/IP Gateway EIP2004-A9 (featuring 2 Ethernet port and 4 RS485 serial port, dynamically supporting 2048 points) supports the collection of more than 500 protocols, such as Modbus, BACnet, OPC, and various PLC protocols, converting them into a standard EtherNet/IP server. EtherNet/IP is a common industrial Ethernet protocol, with "IP" in its name standing for "Industrial Protocol".
The gateway dynamically supports up to 2048 points and can be configured using the X2EIP software. In X2EIP, "X" represents various protocols, "2" is a homophone for "To" indicating conversion, and "EIP" signifies the ultimate support for the EtherNet/IP server protocol.
Users can configure based on the point list of supported protocol devices, converting them into a standard EtherNet/IP server. After simulating and running error-free on a PC, the configuration can be uploaded to the hardware gateway, allowing EtherNet/IP clients to access data from field devices through the gateway.
Application Field：
It solves the integration of other devices with PLC systems from brands such as AB, Omron, Siemens, and Delta, and also facilitates communication with robots from brands like FANUC, ABB, and KUKA.
The gateway supports the connection of more than 500 protocols, covering smart lighting, HVAC, smart home, guest control system, fire protection, PLC, water meter, electricity meter, elevator, UPS, and various other devices.
