         The HART/RS485 isolating converter is a transparent transmission HART-RS485 converter. It allows users to read and write to HART slave devices via RS485 communication. These slave devices can be 2-wire current devices, 4-wire current devices, or other current output devices.

          Indicator Light Description

1. Power indicator light

 When the module is powered on, the power indicator (green) will flash. If the indicator goes out, it indicates that the module is not functioning properly and the power connection should be disconnected.

 2. Communication indicator light

When downlink data (from the PC via RS485 to the instrument) is being transmitted, the indicator light will flash. Once the data transmission is complete, the indicator will turn off. If no data is being sent, the green indicator will stay on, indicating that the module is not functioning properly.

When uplink data (from the instrument to the PC) is being received, the indicator light will flash. Once the data reception is complete, the indicator will turn off. If no data is returned from the instrument, the green indicator will either stay on or flash, indicating a possible instrument fault or line issue.

1. The power indicator does not light up after connecting the power supply.

 Check if the power input connection is secure.

2. The communication green indicator does not flash during downlink data transmission.

Check if the HART/485 port connections are correct.

3. No data transmission, the communication green indicator stays on or flashes.

The module has malfunctioned. Please contact the manufacturer for repair.
