Function Description:
MOD1002-MBus gateway can convert MBus to Modbus, with 1 Ethernet Port, 2 RS485 Port. Connect 4-Wire MBus meter to WinCC, Citect, IFIX, RSVIEW, KingView, ForceControl and other configuration software. Supported devices include MBus water meter, MBus energy meter, MBus heat meter, and Modbus devices.
This product is to replace the original XR1005-MBUS concentrator with a Modbus gateway. After the MBus concentrator and gateway functions are integrated, there is no need to install two devices, which is convenient for customers to wire, saves installation space, and saves costs.
The gateway is configured using X2Modbus software. The "X" of X2Modbus represents various collection protocols, "2" is a homophone of "To" indicating conversion, and "Modbus" ultimately supports standard Modbus RTU/TCP.
Users can configure the project according to the field device point table and forward it to a standard Modbus RTU slave or Modbus TCP server. When uploaded to the hardware gateway, Modbus clients can access data from field devices through the gateway.
Note: The Modbus register base address at the gateway collection end starts from 1 (Base1), and the hexadecimal address starts from 0 (Base0); the Modbus register base address at the forwarding end starts from 1 (Base1).

Note:
1. 4-wire MBus device can be connected to COM1 and COM2. The A+ and B - terminals have a voltage within 5V.
2. Connecting them in reverse can burn the gateway or meter, and any consequences caused by wiring issues are the responsibility of the customer Undertake.
3. COM1 and COM2 are standard RS485 ports that can be used to connect devices with Modbus RTU protocol, while the Ethernet port can connect devices with Modbus TCP protocol.
4. Customers encounter non-standard MBus protocols that support paid custom development, which can generally be completed within 2 weeks.
