        Function Description:

   PFN1011-MBus can convert MBus to S7 PLC Server, with 1 Ethernet Port, 1 RS485 Port, 1 MBus Port. The gateway is configured by X2Profinet software. It can integrate 2-Wire and 4-Wire MBus meter, energy meters, heat meters, DL/T645-1997/2007 multi-functional electricity meters, and SMART LINE series touch screens as well as WinCC upper computer software for S7-200 /1200 /1500/300/400 PLC, and other PLC. In addition, it also supports integrating various devices with Modbus protocol.

        This product is to replace the original XR1005-MBUS concentrator with a Modbus gateway. After the MBus concentrator and gateway functions are integrated, there is no need to install two devices, which is convenient for customers to wire, saves installation space, and saves costs.

        The gateway is configured using X2Profinet software. The "X" of X2Profinet represents various collection protocols, "2" is a homophone of "To" indicating conversion, and "Profinet" ultimately supports standard S7 PLC Server.

 Users can configure the project according to the field device point table and forward it to a standard S7 PLC Server. When uploaded to the hardware gateway, S7 Clients can access data from field devices through the gateway. Note: The Modbus register of the gateway collection end starts with a decimal address of 1 (Base1) and a hexadecimal address of 0 (Base0).

      Note:

      1. 2-Wire MBus device can only be connected to the M+ and M- terminals of COM1 port, with a voltage of around 36V; 4-wire MBus device can be connected to COM2. The A+ and B - terminals have a voltage within 5V. 

      2. Connecting them in reverse can burn the gateway or meter, and any consequences caused by wiring issues are the responsibility of the customer Undertake.

      3. COM2 is a standard RS485 port that can be used to connect 4-wire MBus device, DL/T645-1997/2007 devices or Modbus RTU protocol, while the Ethernet port can connect devices with Modbus TCP protocol.
 
      4. Customers encounter non-standard MBus protocols that support paid custom development, which can generally be completed within 2 weeks.

      5.When connecting a 2-wire MBus device, must use a 24V power supply.

      The hardware gateway comes with a built-in web server that supports browsers such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Apple Safari, Firefox, Opera, and 360 Speed Mode.
